The very first ever Surrey Fall Fair was held back in 1888, and the community is invited to come out and participate in this well-loved annual local tradition once again this year.
Families from across the city are encouraged to come together in a spirit of fun and friendship. There will be something for everyone, ranging from music and other live entertainment to a huge assortment of freshly prepared foods and other treats.
Vendors, area artists and craftspeople alike will have displays set up for the public to browse and buy through, and there will be face painting, butter making and other demonstrations, along with tours of the farmhouse. Guests will even be able to watch a cider press in operation and then take the chill off with a warm drink the apple beverage. An area printer can provide a long-running community function such as this with a branding upgrade service, such as logo design.
The event, which will be both family friendly and free of charge, is open to everyone, and even though there is no admission price, the organizers are asking those who come out to keep neighbors in need in mind and bring along a generous donation for the South Surrey/White Rock Food Bank.
All of this excitement will be taking place on September 16 at 13723 Crescent Road in Surrey. Anyone who is interested in finding out more has been invited to visit its event listing.
