An event that will bring neighbours together to enjoy a family-style meal featuring locally sourced ingredients is on the agenda for the city of Surrey, and tickets are now on sale to take a seat at the table.
The celebration, which is known as ‘The Long, Long Table’, will once again be held in Surrey’s Civic Plaza. The food, drinks, and entertainment will all hail from the West Coast, and wine can be purchased for an additional charge.
The event will open with a networking session where the guests can mix and meet one another. After this, the meal will begin. It will start off with a charcuteries boards and breads, which will be followed by a salad, palate cleanser, entrée, and finally, dessert. Coffee, tea, and water will be served ad lib, and at the end of the evening, the diners may just find themselves with a whole new group of friends.
