Surrey invited to sign up for charity golf day

Surrey golfers who have been looking for an excuse to spend a day outdoors will soon have one, and while they are enjoying the fresh air, they will be helping a variety of local community service projects.

The Semiahmoo Rotary Club is preparing for its 32nd annual Charity Golf Tournament, which has proven to be a successful fundraiser in previous years. All of the proceeds from the day will be used to help those in need, and in response to COVID, the function will follow the same format as it did in 2020.

When golfers arrive at Morgan Creek Golf Course, they will be invited to check in, and the tee times will be scheduled for 10 minutes apart. Food and beverage stations will be on offer at various locations on the course, and there will be prizes awarded during in-hole contests and for the top finishing team. A silent auction will finish off the day, and tax receipts will be issued as well.

A function like this often depends upon the support of the local area for success, and a poster printing company will have a variety of ways to generate community interest. It will be able to design and Print an assortment of attention-grabbing materials.

The Semiahmoo Rotary Golf Tournament will be giving golfers a day in the sun on August 31st. The Rotary Club’s website includes registration links and additional details.
