Surrey hosts summer park picnic series
Surrey is proud of its strong sense of community, and to provide its residents with the chance to meet their neighbours, a series of picnics will be taking place all summer long.
The Community Picnic series will be held at various parks in the city throughout the summer, with the final one scheduled for September. An assortment of community service agencies and not-for-profit groups will be in attendance, including Surrey Central Lions Club and Canadian Blood Services.
The activities will offer the chance to meet representatives from community service groups to find out what supports and services they have to offer, and there will also be sports and other equipment on site to try. The first 150 people to arrive will receive a food item free of charge, and there will also be games and self-directed fun courtesy of Park Play to enjoy.
A summer evening can be ideal for enjoying outdoor activities, and banner printing services for these events will be available at a print professional. They can offer both single use and reusable styles.
