Surrey historic attraction to host traditional holiday celebration

This year, Surrey’s Historic Stewart Farm will be hosting an event that will give its visitors a chance to enjoy an old-fashioned holiday celebration.

The event, which will feature an assortment of activities and traditional foods from the Victorian era, will have something for young and old alike. There will be a classical carol singing, music played on a piano and harp in the parlour, figgy pudding and other period holiday treats, a Christmas tree decorated in the style that was popular during Victorian times, and numerous activities for the kids.

Visitors can spend some time in Stewart Hall where they can try their hand at making crafts to take home with them, and the Pole Barn will be open for a scavenger hunt. As the event’s organizers noted, they are hoping the day will provide a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and give people a chance to relax and enjoy some slower-paced activities. Banners and other traditional themed holiday decorations for an event like this can be both designed and produced by a printing company.

The Christmas Open House will be held on December 10 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Surrey’s Stewart Farm. There is no charge to participate, and all are welcome.

More details about the event can be found on its website.
