Surrey garden to host Mothers Day event

The Glades Woodland Garden in Surrey has planned a very special weekend to help loved ones celebrate Mother’s Day.

The Woodland Garden has been described as a beautiful sight to see in the spring. With more than 15 acres of land, visitors will have the pleasure of viewing more than 1,600 rhododendrons, with some as tall as 20 feet. Visitors will also stroll past azaleas and other plants native to the land, and will get to see the garden come to life with the vibrant, colourful landscape.

The garden has organized a few special events for its attendees. Visitors will be entertained with live music as they stroll through the gardens. The grand lawn will also be available for setting up a picnic. There will also be a coffee truck on site for the purchase of general snacks and drinks.

A banner printing company can help make an event such as this even livelier, creating thematic decor for the event.

Mother’s Day weekend at Woodland Garden will take place on the weekend of May 7 and 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or over the phone by calling the City of Surrey Call Centre. Children under 12 are free; however, they will still need a pre-booked ticket to enter. General admission to the garden is $7.
