A fundraising concert has been planned with Surrey’s country music lovers in mind.
While guests at the Gone Country fundraiser enjoy musical performances from several area artists, they will be raising funds to help fight cancer, and the event will be held no matter the weather.
This year will mark the seventh occurrence of this annual event, and its organizers are hoping to raise at least $650,000. The monies will be donated to the BC Cancer Foundation, and anyone who is at least 19 and over is welcome to join in the fun.
At least eight performers have already been booked to perform, and food and drinks will be available. Identification will be checked at the gate, and those who plan on attending will need to bring along at least two pieces of ID. They are also reminded to bring a printed copy of their ticket to gain entry.
This sort of annual event can be very popular, so an eye-catching and memorable logo design can help to raise awareness in the local area. This can help make sure that it will be well attended, and can play a role in helping to build its brand.
This event, which will have country music fans on their feet, will be held on July 20th. It will be set up in Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre Park.
