An expo to be held in Surrey will give the public a chance to explore the many opportunities that exist in the trades sector this October.
The sector is facing a staffing crisis and it is estimated that, as the population ages, many trades people will be retiring, leaving lots of positions available.
Attendees at the Trades Expo 2019 will be able to discover the many jobs that make up the sector and what training is required for these various careers. They can learn about jobs ranging from concrete installation to carpentry.
Representatives from a variety of companies will be on hand, and attendees can explore an assortment of “tools of the trade”. Teachers and career counselors are welcome to sign up their students. The event’s organizers have noted that the employers on site will have an eye out for individuals who are enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and some aptitude for the trade they are considering.
Canadian National Trades has organized this career expo, and it is hoping for a big turnout. Business Cards can be prepared ahead of time for both companies and individuals taking part in events like this, which will make it a snap for them to exchange contact details.
This year’s Trades Expo will be held on October 24th and 25th. Tickets are free for the public.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
