The British Columbia Food Technologists (BCFT) association is a support advocacy group for those in the industry, and it has scheduled a networking and social activity for a Surrey course.
The Guildford Golf and Country Club will be the course of choice for the annual BCT golf tourney and banquet. It is set for a day in late June, and at the time of writing, there are still tickets available.
The day will open in the morning with registration, and at noon, it will be time to tee off. Both seasoned and newbie golfers are welcome, and it will follow a Texas scramble/ best ball format. Each team can vie for the prizes that will be up for grabs, and the day will draw to a close with a banquet buffet. There will be lots of networking and time to exchange Business Cards, and there are several sponsorship opportunities
To give local companies the chance to get involved in the day, the organizers have created several sponsorship tiers, each comes with its own package of perks. Anyone who would like to donate some Corporate Gifts in kind for the door prize draws is encouraged to do so.
This day of gold for the province’s food technologist community will be taking to the greens on June 26th. Its registration system can be found online.
