Children and youth who have autism and other developmental delays can sometimes present a variety of challenging behavior. Clinicians and educators who work with these young people and would like to add to their skillset are invited to be part of the ‘Challenging Behaviors Conference’ which is being hosted in Surrey by School District No. 36.
Attendees at the symposium will be invited to gather information and skills they can use when they work with youth. It will be evidence-based, and the treatment methods taught will have been proven to be both actionable and successful.
The conference is scheduled to last for three days, and the final day will be focused on the topic of preventing self-harming behavior. Delegates will learn new ways of working with children who exhibit challenging behavior and their families. Health care providers, mental health professionals and educators are all welcome, and parents, caregivers and students can also participate.
Before an event like this takes place, its organizers may wish to meet with their local printing services provider, who will be able to supply everything from Presentation Folders and promotional Pens to a welcoming banner that can help to make events a success.
School District #36’s Resource Centre has reserved May 10th, 11th and 13th for this learning opportunity. Registration for the function can be completed online.Get a Free Quote for Presentation Folders Get a Free Quote for Pens
