Whisky is a popular drink the whole world over, and a Surrey class will explore the different varieties of this well-loved beverage.
Vinoscenti Vineyards has planned an event that will provide an in depth look at the many varieties of whiskies that can be found around the globe. Much of the focus will be on those produced in Canada, the USA, Ireland, Scotland and India. The attendees in the workshop will be able to sample four whiskies in a guided tasting session, which will be led by an expert in the field who received training in the art of whisky appreciation in Scotland.
During the tasting portion of the evening, those who participate will be taught the proper techniques to get the most from the experience. They will find out how to best appreciate the aroma as well as the flavour, and they will be encouraged to discuss their opinions on the whiskies they sample. Custom Drinkware can be both designed and then crafted by an area printer for use during a function like this.
The ticket price for this whisky-themed workshop will be $50 each. It will be led by a Certified Whisky Ambassador, and it will be taking place at 15560 Colebrook Road in Surrey. The day has been planned for next Friday, December 1, and the host’s Facebook page includes further details.
