What's Happening in Surrey, BC…

Another calendar year has come and gone, and in Surrey, that means it is almost time for the annual Chamber Holiday Mixer.

The South Surrey and White Rock Chamber of Commerce will be rolling out the red, white and green carpet for its annual holiday party, and this year, it will be hosted at Safe Sweat.

While the attendees mix and mingle, they will be able to share stories of their challenges and how they overcame them, along with sharing their successes. Refreshments, including healthy snacks, will be served, and as music will be playing, they may even choose to take a spin on the dance floor. A prize draw will take place, and everyone is encouraged to come dressed in their favourite holiday attire.

The holidays are often a time for celebration, and those who plan on attending the mixer are reminded that not everyone is so fortunate. Attendees have been asked to consider bringing along a generous donation for the local food pantry, and a list of the items most needed is available online via the official event listing on the Chamber’s website.

As with many events, the organizers of the party have put out a call for sponsors. Those that do will be able to show their holiday spirit, and their branding and logo design may be seen by a wide audience.
