Surrey celebration to help seniors living with dementia

Seniors coping with dementia will be the beneficiaries of a black tie event on the agenda for Surrey, and this will be the largest event of its kind the host will offer this year.

The Lark Angels Foundation will be raising funds to help build a sensory stimulation room that will keep the minds of those living with dementia active, and the community has been asked to help support this effort.

Once the doors have opened for the evening, ticket holders will be able to enjoy an open bar and light snacks while they mingle, and after this, dinner will be served. There will be entertainment and an auction as well, and more details about the function can be found on the host’s website.

To help raise awareness as well as funds, the Lark Angels Foundation is selling special bow ties featuring a special graphic design. These can be purchased for $25 each, and can be worn during this or any other formal or semi-formal function.

Tickets for the event start at $125 each, and tables of 10 can be reserved for $1,250. Those who choose this option will receive complementary wine for the table. Reservations are currently being accepted.

This black tie affair in support of community members living with dementia will be held on September 25th. The Guildford Sheraton Hotel will be the venue for the evening.
