Surrey area event to be filled with fiber fun

Whether an artisan uses wool, hemp or another material, naturally sourced fibers can be used in many ways. Fibers West 2020 is set to be held near Surrey this March, and this event will welcome anyone who is interested in fiber and the textiles and other items that can be made from them.

Whether they spin, weave, knit or craft in another way, this gathering has a lot to offer the local crafter. Weavers, spinners, dyers and even tapestry makers can find displays and exhibits to catch their interest, and basketry will also be included in the occasion.

The location for the event is accessible to those who require a wheelchair or other mobility device, and admission for adults starts at $8. Seniors and students will be asked to pay $6, and kids up to the age of 13 will be admitted for free.

To thank attendees for supporting this celebration, its organizers remarked that there will be door prize drawings twice each day. Printers can supply a wide selection of Promotional Products such as reusable cloth Totes, rulers and even craft storage Boxes that can be offered as prizes during this type of public affair.

Fibers West will be returning for another year on March 13th and 14th. The Field House behind the Langley Events Centre will be hosting the weekend, and a donation of the monies raised from the yarn winding station will benefit the Surrey Food Bank.
