Summer fun scheduled for Surrey museum

The Museum of Surrey (MOS) will be hosting a selection of summer camps this year, and there are lots of options for kids aged three to ten.

The museum's summer camp series will offer lots of fun and learning, and while the campers are enjoying themselves, they will be able to make friends and develop new interests. The camps will all be held at the historic 1881 Town Hall, which is part of the MOS Heritage Campus, and so long as the weather co-operates, the kids will be spending a portion of each day outdoors.

The camps will each have their own theme, and these range from clothing and textiles to bees and bugs. Each week-long camp is $214, and the days will run from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm. Masks must be worn by any children who are aged nine or older.

There will be various measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and one of these will be posting one-way signage throughout the location. A poster printing company can prepare items like these, which may be custom designed for a specific event.

The Summer Camps at MOS will run throughout the summer, and there will be a selection of dates for parents or caregivers to choose from. Additional details are available by visiting the City of Surrey website.
