Now that summer is almost in full swing, the city of Surrey will be home to two community festivals this July.
Both will reportedly have lots to offer the entire family, with the first to take place being the Bridgeview Community Festival. It will feature a bicycle parade, Pirate Cove, a climbing rock wall, face painting and bouncy castles. There will also be musical entertainment, a barbecue food truck, and informational tables from local businesses and community organizations.
Later on in the month, the Fleetwood Multicultural Fair and Market is returning to the city for the third year. It is hosted by Baobab and Latinos in Action. This free event is set to feature music, with dance demonstrations and children's activities. Music will include a drum circle with Ezra and the Buskers Area, which will feature performers such as John Gillat. There will also be a market selling arts and crafts and merchandise from local businesses.
Both of these events will likely be widely advertised in the Surrey area. Organizers may invest in flyer or brochure printing to spread the word to residents.
The Bridgeview Community Festival will be held at Bridgeview Community Centre on July 4th from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. Call 604-592-7083 to learn more.
