Horse farm offers a traditional country Christmas celebration

The Timberline Country Christmas festival is taking place in nearby Maple Ridge for more than two weeks next month.

There are lots of fun activities planned on this 73-acre horse farm that are sure to please everyone in the family. Guests can enjoy strolling through the lit trees and buildings, watching interactive scenes, visiting the nativity scene, and listening to seasonal music.

A special display will teach about the origins of Christmas. For the children, there will be cookie decorating, creating an ornament in the workshop, a petting zoo, and wagon rides. Games such as a snowball-themed ball pit and Storyland will also entertain the kids.

There is a Christmas tree display and contest; local businesses have decorated trees and the winner will be chosen by the public. Food and bakery products will also be available for purchase.

No doubt many families in Surrey will want to take the short ride in order to experience a real country Christmas. To spread the word, local Print companies may provide advertising products such as Flyers.

The Timberline Country Christmas is taking place from December 2 to 20 at the Timberline Ranch. Admission is $9 or $7 on Thursday and Friday for adults and $11 or $8 for children aged between two and twelve. To find out the latest news about this event, visit the Timberline Ranch website.
