Dates set for Surrey tree sales

It's been said that whoever plants a tree makes an investment in the future, and two dates have been set by Surrey to help expand its green canopy.

The planners of the tree sales that are scheduled for Surrey explained that everyone who is interested will have the chance to purchase up to three trees to install in their yard. Its listing pointed out that this may increase property value while also doing a good turn for Mother Nature, and each sapling will be $20.00.

The functions will be open to private residences in Surrey, and credit card purchases will need to indicate they have a billing address in the community. Most of the trees will have been grown on in 3 or 5 gallon pots, and they will be between 5 and 12 feet tall. When they make their selections, the participants can choose their pickup time, and it's been requested that the name of the individual picking up their trees be provided.

There will be approximately 1000 trees available each day, and both native and non-native species, including fruit trees, will be in the mix.
