Childrens summer camp to be held in Surrey

The Fascinating Forests Summer Camp will be taking place in Surrey this coming July.

A Rocha Canada created this educational three-day event for children ages 6 to 12. The camp will focus on learning about the local forest, such as what types of trees there are, how they affect animals and what wildlife species are in the area. Attendees will learn about how the ecosystem works and what roles different animal and plant species play in achieving balance.

For this event, all children must have sturdy outdoor footwear and clothes appropriate for spending a day in the woods. Participants should also have coats in case of rain and bring their own lunch, snacks and water. When announcing local events, the organizers of summer camps often use brochure printing to create physical copies of event information for parents to review.

Registration fees are priced at $250 per child. If enrolling children for the first time, parents and guardians must read over and sign registration and agreement Forms. Parents and guardians of children who have already taken part in one of A Rocha Canada’s other 2022 events can forgo signing the Forms a second time.

This daytime camping event will be held at the Brooksdale Environmental Centre from Monday, July 4 to Friday, July 8 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm each day.
