Children's festival returning to Surrey

The Surrey International Children's Festival is returning to the city this May.

Five venues will by presenting performances from artists such as Cirque Surrey and other local groups. The Community Spirit Stage is set to host cultural dance and music groups, and the festival will start off with a procession featuring participants dressed in various ethnic costumes. Children will be able to take part in creative activities such as clay arts and face painting. They can also enjoy the Nylon Zoo and the art card station.

Workshops on the topics ‘Trickery! Magic Workshop’ and ‘Chalk Arts’ are also planned. Some items are completely free while others require an arts activity wristband.

This popular annual festival attracts plenty of guests from all over the Surrey area. Local printing companies may be asked to provide marketing materials like Flyers and Posters to be distributed to the community.

The Surrey International Children's Festival is taking place from Mary 22nd to 24th at the Surrey Arts Centre and Bear Creek Park. Fees for school groups are $8 for all activities or $4 just to take part in arts activities. Regular prices are $10, while the fee is $6 for those under the age of three.
