Celebrate at the Fusion Festival

The Fifth annual Surrey Fusion Festival will take place at Holland Park on July 21 and 22 from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm each day. This is a free event and the purchase of food is done through tickets which cost $20 for 20.

The festival features Flavours of Surrey, 30 Cultural Pavilions, a Kids’ World area, an activity tent, and four stages which will be presenting musical acts. There will be something to appeal to everyone in the family.

Flavours of Surrey will feature purchased food samples, a fresh market, farm animals to pet, activities for children such as trivia with prizes, a straw bale maze, the "Learn to Dance" stage, musical entertainment, and dance. There will also be information on how important agriculture is to all of us. No doubt the organizers of the event will be relying on Surrey printing companies to supply banner printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing services to help spread the word.

The cultural pavilions will be highlighting the food and culture of 30 countries, including Canada, Barbados, Ecuador, and Hong Kong. There will be music, dance, and foods from all the represented countries.

There will be 10 different musical acts on the four stages including Los Lobos, Hawksley Workman, and Good for Grapes. The Kids’ World area and the activity tent will feature face painters, balloon artists, take-home crafts, and henna artists.

Surrey is one of the most diverse communities in British Columbia and the Fusion Festival celebrates that fact and helps to foster understanding between cultures.
