Cheyenne shelter to celebrate World Spay Day

Spaying and neutering a companion animal helps to control the population of stray and feral cats and dogs, and World Spay Day will be marked in Cheyenne to highlight the importance of this practice.

To celebrate the occasion, The Cheyenne Animal Shelter will be offering 25 openings for spay or neuter surgeries. There will be 20 allocated for cats and five for dogs, with an optional vaccine add-on available as well.

To access this opportunity, registration must be made ahead of time, which can be done as of this Saturday, February 17. It will need to be done in person at the shelter, with payment for the service made at the time along with the presentation of a proof of rabies vaccine. If it is not shown, the cost for this will be added to the final bill. The price for all of this will depend on the vaccines selected, and the surgical fee will be $95 for dogs and $55 for cats. Microchipping will also be available.

A pop-up clinic or similar event may call for specialized intake Forms, Letterheads, and other custom paperwork. This can all be crafted by Stationery printers, along with price lists and other documents.

The Cheyenne Animal Shelter has made plans to run its World Spay Day event on Tuesday, February 27, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
