Cheyenne set to host unique dining experience
An eye exam and pair of glasses can help both children and adults with vision problems to see their world more clearly. Not everyone can afford them though, and a special Cheyenne dinner will help to make a difference.
The Joint Vision Grant Program will be the recipient of the funds raised through the ‘Dining in the Dark With Helen Keller’ event. Several historical guests will be in attendance, and there will also be a raffle and silent auction.
The menu that has been prepared for the occasion includes both steak and chicken, as well as salad, potatoes, vegetables, and also rolls and butter. Tea, water, and coffee will be ad lib, and for dessert, the guests will be treated to cheesecake served with chocolate sauce and raspberries.
To help make the event a night to remember, several historical figures will be on hand. Mark Twain, Alexander Graham Bell, Helen Keller, and her teacher Annie Sullivan will be taking part, courtesy of The True Troupe.
This type of function can be an idea for a night out, and promotional postcards and other mailers prepared by a printing services provider can help to let the public in the local area know when and where it will be held. Tickets start at $70.
Cheyenne’s Red Lion Hotel will be the venue for Dining in the Dark With Helen Keller, and its scheduled start time is 6:00 pm on March 29. It will open with a social hour before dinner is served.
