Cheyenne Gardens sets dates for Harvest Moon Stroll

There can be something special about a garden by moonlight, and the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is set to offer this experience at the start of the fall flora session.

The venue will be hosting two Harvest Moon Strolls, and these will show how a garden can be a feast for the senses even after the sun has gone down. It will be led by director Scott Aker, and there are only 25 spaces in the activity.

The walks will visit various parts of the gardens, and Aker will point out special items of interest along the way. Some parts of the session will be silent so that everyone can appreciate the visual impact of the plants and flowers by moonlight without distraction.

After the stroll has drawn to a close, attendees will retire to the venue's conservatory for some light refreshments by the light of the moon. Tropical plants will be on display, and they can mingle and enjoy one another’s company.

Special botanical-themed events can draw attention from the local gardening public. A brochure printing company can provide materials that offer tips and advice for recreating a particular style of planting in their own home garden.

Cheyenne Botanic Gardens will be welcoming registrants for its Harvest Moon Stroll at 7:00 pm on September 17 and 18. Tickets are $20 each and must be reserved in advance.
