Cheyenne event to explore the world of bees
Bees play an important role in the world, and those who are interested in learning how they can lend them a helping hand may wish to make plans to attend an upcoming Cheyenne event.
The Wyoming Bee College will provide information about both honeybees and native bees, such as bumblebees. Covering an assortment of topics for the apiarist, gardener or anyone who is concerned about the health of the environment, the event is open to both adults and kids alike.
The event will offer those who take part an opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops, and they can choose the ones that are of interest to them. An assortment of keynote speakers and other professionals will facilitate the classes, and there will be details shared about steps that anyone can take to help protect bees and ensure their long-term survival.
In an effort to help instill an interest in beekeeping and conservation in the younger set, the organizers are offering a special Bee Buddies opportunity for kids. They will receive free admission if they attend with 4-H leader or adult beekeeper. Logo design and other services for an occasion like this can be provided by a local print company.
This three-day event, that will highlight the importance of bees and other pollinators, will begin on March 16. It will be held in Laramie County Community College, and more details can be found by visiting the Bee College’s website.
