A creative lesson is sure to entertain South Charleston residents while helping them ring in the holiday season. The event is set to take place in early November.
The Skating into Winter Painting Experience is an activity where attendees can spend time learning an array of techniques for painting with acrylics while putting together a unique image of a snowman ice skating on a frozen lake with a snowy backdrop, which includes a tree wrapped in colorful lights. The class will be led by April Noble, a skilled instructor and artist.
The venue for the lesson is the Charleston location of Uncork & Create. A selection of drinks – including white wine, blush wine, and red wine – is available at an in-house spot for an additional cost to the admission price of the event. Guests may not take their own drinks.
The size of the finished piece will be 16”x20”. Tickets come in at $39.59 with fees and taxes included. These can be purchased online through Ticket Tailor. As long as at least a full 24 hours of notification is given, tickets are able to be used at a future event if someone is unable to attend this one. Flyer printing is often used in the promotion of similar activities.
The experience will run for about two hours, starting at 6:30 pm and ending around 8:30 pm on Friday, November 4. Guests may arrive 15 minutes prior to opening.
