The South Charleston Chamber 12th Annual 5k Wellness Run/Walk has been slated for the end of May.
Registration for the run/walk will be $25 for adults and $20 for children. After May 15th prices will go up to $30 for adults and registration will close on May 28th at noon. T-Shirts are only guaranteed to those registering before May 15th.
Races like this usually have their event shirts printed with the event's Logo Design or graphic design at local Print shops.
The course will be a flat road surface through downtown South Charleston that will be beginner-friendly and ideal for family groups and walkers. This will be a chipped-timed race for runners.
Awards will go to first place female and male finishers in each of eight age categories.
Sponsorships from $200 to $800 are available. They include logo placement on the event website, and free race/walk entries. The $200, $300 and $500 sponsors will get the opportunity to include Promotional Products in the race packets.
Registration will begin at 8:00 am at Oakes Field on race day and runners for the 5k will begin at 9:00 am with the walkers starting a little after.
The South Charleston Chamber 12th Annual l5k Wellness Run/Walk will take place from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, May 30th at Oakes Field on E Street.
