Protecting themselves from identity fraud is about to get a lot easier for those who call South Charleston home, and everyone in the community is encouraged to take full advantage of the offer.
A community shred and e-waste recycling day is on the way for the city, and it will be open for four hours. It is being held thanks to support from the local Better Business Bureau, and while there is no fee being offered, donations to the group's Charitable and Educational fund will be appreciated.
People are welcome to stop by with their old tax records, credit card statements and offers, and any other documents they feel would be better off shredded. The e-cycling station will accept a variety of equipment ranging from computer boards and other hardware to VCRs and shredders, but televisions, lightbulbs, batteries, and computer monitors cannot be accepted during this activity.
Making sure a public event goes as planned can be easier with assistance from a banner printing company. It can be called upon to craft an assortment of signage that can help to keep a function organized and running smoothly.
This free home security session will be available to the public on Saturday, May 13. It will be open for item drop-off from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, and it will be set up in the South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena Parking Lot.
