South Charleston invited to take dance steps against domestic violence

After a successful inaugural year, a South Charleston event that puts the ‘fun’ in fundraising is set to make its return. It is being held in support of the West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and it promises to be an evening of fun on the dance floor for all of the guests.

The function will give attendees a chance to show off some of their best dance moves, and many different styles of dancing and music will be included. Tango, merengue, salsa, swing and bachata are just a few of the styles that will be featured, and local dancers will also perform.

The doors will open for the attendees at 6:00 pm, and specialty cocktails, wine and beer will all be available at the bar. A raffle has also been planned, and hors d’oeuvres will be served to the guests between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

To help make this fundraiser a big success, the organizers need the assistance of community volunteers. Those who do so will be offered free event tickets and food, and they can also feel good about offering families touched by domestic violence. T-Shirts, lanyards, volunteer name tags, and certificates of appreciation are just a few of the items that a printing services company can provide for those who lend a hand with an event like this.

The Women’s Club of Charleston will be the venue for this evening of music and dance. It will be taking place on August 31.
