A South Charleston area fundraiser will supply a local care provider with some welcome financial support.
For 40 years, Hospice Care has met the needs of the community by providing services such as palliative, hospice and bereavement support for families. A golf outing will give the public a fun way to lend a hand, and the organizers explained that they will be following all the current recommendations with respect to social distancing.
The registration fee for the day includes the use of a cart, as well as a shotgun scramble, and both morning and afternoon times are available. There will be a variety of prizes, with mulligans (a second change after a blundered stroke) and a sleeve of balls just some of the perks for those who register. Breakfast will be available, as will boxed lunches, and there will be two beverage carts as well.
To help ensure that this fundraiser will meet its goals, the organizers have put a call out to the local corporate community. There are several sponsorships options to choose from, and each will put the funder’s Logo Design in the public’s eye.
Tickets for this annual day on the links are $150 each, and it will be taking place on September 11. It will be on offer at Edgewood Golf Course.
