For many, Christmas is a time for crafting, and a day of creativity will help South Charleston to kick off the holiday season.
Those who register for the Candle Basket and Wreath Workshop, which is set to be hosted at the Advanced Technology Center at the Bridge Valley Community and Technical College (ATC/CTC), will be treated to a day of fun and learning.
The session, which will begin in the morning, will see members of the local community preparing an assortment of decor with a holiday theme, and they will be crafting a pinecone swag as well as a wreath and candle jar basket. There will be a break between the morning and afternoon, and the participants can choose to leave and have their lunch elsewhere, or stay on site and mingle with the other attendees.
Tickets are now available and fee to register is $60, which includes the cost of all the materials used. Everyone who Signs up is asked to bring an old towel to use during the basket weaving portion of the activity.
