Summerfest at the Mound will be returning to South Charleston for four nights in mid-August.
The event will be free, and attendees can look forward to free sno-cones, inflatables in the Kids' Zone, face painting, two bands each evening, and dance contests. Food vendors will be selling summer goodies.
Food vendors at summer events like this often have local Print shops create a memorable Logo Design and have it printed on all their paper products.
Saturday, August 16th, festivities will begin a little earlier at 8:00 am with the Summerfest Car Show featuring interesting makes and models of cars on several downtown streets. Vehicle registration will start at 7:00 am. The registration fee will be $1.00 and comes with free T-Shirts. Every thirty minutes during the event $100 will be given to some lucky registrant. Vehicles are asked to enter the Mound area using the Montrose exit (turning left at the Ashby Street light).
The Summerfest Car Show will take place from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The entertainment will continue until 10:00 pm when the event will close with a display of fireworks.
Summerfest at the Mound will take place August 13th, 14th and 15th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, August 16th from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm at the Mound, 301 7th Avenue.
