A show that introduces a selection of celebrated characters is bringing something different for South Charleston residents in mid-February.
Disney on Ice is a touring performance company featuring characters from the world of Disney in a variety of shows. The performers are skilled figure skaters, allowing for the Disney magic to merge with the art of their sport. The four-day show offers a way for families to enjoy a live event, while also introducing themselves to figure skating through familiar faces. The skaters under the costumes come from around the world, including countries such as Mexico, Ukraine, Japan, France, Canada, the Netherlands, Chile, Spain, Finland, the UK, Sweden, Belgium, and Germany, as well as from here in the US.
Mickey’s Search Party brings Mickey Mouse and a bunch of his pals to the ice for a few hours of fun, song, stunts, dance, skating, and magic. In addition to the classic buddies (Minnie and Donald), Mickey is also accompanied by characters from Aladdin, Frozen, Coco, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, and Toy Story.
Ticketmaster is selling tickets for prices ranging from $15 to $110. Venues will commonly choose to use poster printing for advertisement of large events.
February 15th’s show is at 7:00pm. February 16th has 10:30am and 7:00pm shows, and February 17th has 11:00am, 3:00pm, and 7:00pm timeslots. February 18th has 1:00pm and 5:00pm.
