Performer to hold concert in local venue

An artist who works in multiple entertainment fields will be putting on a show that will surely be entertaining for South Charleston residents in mid-June.

Leslie Odom Jr. is most recognized for his performance as Aaron Burr in the smash hit Broadway musical Hamilton. For this role, he took home both a Grammy and a Tony Award. Odom Jr. has also appeared in movies such as Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Murder on the Orient Express, Harriet, and The Many Saints of Newark. He has also had roles in television shows such as Smash and Central Park. In 2018, his book, entitled Failing Up: How to Take Risks, Aim Higher and Never Stop Learning, was published. As a singer, Odom Jr. has released songs such as “Standards,” “Autumn Leaves,” and “Stronger Magic.”

An Evening with Leslie Odom Jr. will be visiting nearby Charleston’s venue Clay Center. Tickets are sold via the Clay Center website. Seating available at the time of writing varies in cost between $40 and $125. Limited wheelchair accessible spots are included in each seating area.
