West Virginia is home to some powerful birds of prey, and a selection of these feathery hunters will be on hand to meet the public as part of an upcoming afternoon activity.
Six Raptor Ambassadors will be the guests of honor for a presentation made possible by the Three Rivers Avian Center. Trained staff will be on hand to guide the session, and the whole family, from kids to seniors, is welcome.
During the activity, the assembled group will learn about owls, hawks, eagles, and falcons, including what makes them different from one another and how they have adapted to become highly effective flying predators.
