Country star to go on tour

A show in mid-June is sure to entertain South Charleston residents, as a big name from country music heads onto the road.

Luke Bryan is a singer, television judge, activist, businessman, and songwriter. He has appeared on American Idol alongside Lionel Richie and Katy Perry since 2019. Some of his hits include “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” “Kick The Dust Up,” “Beer In The Headlights,” “Buzzkill,” and “Shut It Down.” Bryan has supported causes such as cancer, children’s disaster relief, HIV, and human rights. He also owns several companies, including a bar in Nashville.

The Raised Up Right Tour will feature Riley Green, DJ Rock, and Mitchell Tenpenny in addition to Bryan. The concert will be held at the Charleston Coliseum And Convention Center.

A VIP bundle is available for $299, which gets buyers a reserved ticket, a concierge, a laminate featuring an artist related graphic design, access to an acoustic set by Bryan of two songs, drinks, snacks, and museum, and an exclusive piece of merchandise. Regular tickets go for between $49.75 and $702, with some of these being set at resale prices. A non-fungible token (NFT) collectable in the form of a commemorative ticket will be included with each original purchase, although it is not attached to resales.

The show will kick off at 7:00 pm on June 9.
