Easter egg hunts are a popular springtime tradition, and South Charleston will be joining the ranks of countries all across the country that will be hosting this type of family activity.
For one afternoon in April, Joplin Park will be transformed into a giant game for the community’s younger residents, who will be searching for their share of the 5,000 eggs hidden throughout the property. It is intended for kids who are six and under, and their parents are reminded to have their phone or camera ready to capture the excitement.
Each of the eggs hidden will have a prize or candy hidden inside, and members of the public who participate in the afternoon can expect to enjoy lots of fun and laughter. The kids are reminded to bring a basket or other container to hold their treasures and to dress for the weather as well.
