A number of food-focused events are scheduled during the month of January near South Charleston.
Charleston Restaurant Week will take place between January 25th and 30th. The third annual event is designed to celebrate local restaurants. During it, a number of establishments will offer diners three courses for $30.
The event is sponsored by Buzz Food Service, which provides food to a number of restaurants in the area. The sponsors could use Brochures to let people know which restaurants are participating in the event and what menu options they will offer.
Over in Morgantown, the 32nd annual Festival of Food and Wine is slated to take place between January 15th and 17th. The theme of this year's festival is ‘A Fusion Culinary Tour of North America’.
During the event, which will be held at the Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa, people can attend seminars on the cuisine in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and New York City, among other places. In addition to the seminars, there will be classes, wine and whisky tastings, and an Iron Chef contest. Tickets to the festival start at $49 for a day pass. A three-day all-inclusive package is $125, plus tip and tax.
Finally, the WV Department of Agriculture is currently accepting applications for its 8th Annual Winter Blues Farmers Market. The market's theme this year is ‘It's All About THE FOOD and Community’.
A small number of spaces are available for nonprofits, artisans, local chefs, and small businesses. The market will take place on February 25th from 4:00pm to 7:30pm and will be held at the Charleston Civic Center.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
