A creative experience is set to provide a fun and communal environment for residents of South Charleston next month.

Body of the River Painting Experience is a class created by the brand Uncork & Create. The goal of U&C events is to give participants a relaxing and enjoyable break from the stresses of the outside world. For this lesson, attendees will learn from the local artist as they work to create an image of a river, rolling hills, a bridge, and a sunset filled sky. The river will resemble the basic silhouette of a human body.

For anyone who is of legal drinking age, alcohol will be available to consume during the activity for an additional cost. The options include several types of wine, as well as other drinks.

The fee of $39.59 covers the instruction as well as the brushes and the 16”x20” canvas. Tickets can be found via Ticket Tailor. Refunds are not available, however, the funds can be moved to cover a different lesson, as long as U&C is given no less than 24 hours warning.
Art studios will often advertise events which are open to the community with flyer printing. The venue for this experience is the Charleston Uncork & Create location. Guests are able to show up 15 minutes before the scheduled time of 6:30pm. These activities usually run for about two hours. The date is September 1st.
