South Charleston locals wanting to give a popular form of art a shot can attend a fun event in mid-January.
Uncork & Create is a studio that offers its own take on the “paint and sip” concept. The White Cow Painting Experience will be led by April Noble. Participants will be guided along as they put together an image of a realistic yet adorable fluffy cow, who also has a pair of smooth white horns. Noble will show everyone a method to create dimension with very light shades of colors, making the paintings feel like they have movement. Once a painter is able to grasp the concepts and techniques needed, they will be allowed to continue on and make the piece uniquely their own.
Covering the “and sip” portion of the event is a menu including wine and other drinks. These are not covered by the ticket, so an additional purchase will need to be made to have a beverage. IDs will also be needed for those ordering alcohol.
Ticket Tailor is selling the passes for the experience. Including their fees and the sales tax, admission costs $39.59 per participant. The base being worked on is a size of 16”x20”. Art studios often select flyer printing as one of their promotion methods.
Uncork & Create, in nearby Charleston, will host Noble and the participating painters between 6:30pm and 8:30pm on January 20th.
