The Parks and Recreation Department in Watertown is hosting a wide range of activities in the upcoming months.
Such activities are often promoted throughout a community with poster printing.
Residents can skate and play ice hockey at the Silver Creek Skating Pond on N. Water Street. There are lights so that people can skate until 10:00 pm. The Department is also looking for a part-time instructor to teach ice-skating to adults and children interested in learning the basics. Those who are interested in this position can apply online on the city’s website.
The Department also has season pool passes for 2021. There are family and individual passes, with Forms available online and at the indoor pool. Once the form is filled out it can be dropped off along with the fee in the secure drop box at the Park and Registration Department Office.
The indoor pool is available for deep-water aqua jogging and adult lap swimming. Interested swimmers need to register online in advance and book a 45-minute timeslots with one person swimming per lane. Individual swim lessons are also being offered for those who want to learn new skills, practice, have fun in the water, and meet goals.
Lessons last 40 minutes and are held during regular pool hours, so participants and instructors need to coordinate their schedules to reserve space.Get a Free Quote for Forms
