The Riverfest celebration will be coming to Watertown this summer for four days. The celebration will feature musical entertainment including a tribute shows to Steely Dan and Bruce Springsteen as well as many performers with ties to Watertown.
The festival will open on a Thursday with a show by Johnny Wad, one of the favorite performers of Riverfest. The headliner for the evening will be Steely Dane, a band based in Madison with many super-musicians and Watertown natives, featuring the music of Steely Dan.
The festival will continue Friday evening with Them Coolee Boys, a Jamgrass band based in western Wisconsin featuring the next generation of contemporary bluegrass. The WhiskeyBells and Copper Box will be opening for the band.
The main stage on Saturday will begin with Geoff Landon and Friends followed by Big Al & The Hi-Fi’s with a classic rock singalong. The evening will end with Bruce in the USA. There will be three bands on Sunday all of whom will be coordinated with the classic auto show.
There will also be face painting, body art, the Taste of Watertown, a chainsaw art show and auction, and a carnival midway at the festival. Such events often turn to local Print shops to help with printed materials with schedules of such performances and activities.
