Watertown-based aviation company to expand to Milwaukee

Wisconsin Aviation, Inc. with its corporate headquarters in Watertown, has announced that it will opening a new office at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport in order to expand its air charter department.

The air charter services of Wisconsin Aviation in Milwaukee will ensure that passengers travel stress-free with including no layovers, long lines, or connecting flights as passengers can fly direct to their nearest local airport. In addition, smaller local airports are typically closer to one’s departing and location and destination affording more convenient flying. Wisconsin Aviation will be offering aircraft ranging from twin engines with six seats to executive jets. The company said that it is looking forward to this growth of its market so that it can meet the air charter needs of those in this area.

Wisconsin Aviation was founded in 1981 and has become of one of the most progressive aviation service centers in the Midwest. Among its aviation services, in addition to air charter, are aircraft rental and sales, aircraft maintenance, corporate aviation management, and flight instruction. It employees 140 people and has a fleet of over 50 airplanes based in Juneau, Watertown, and Madison. Its annual operations average close to 19,000 flight hours and cover over three million miles.
