People Against a Violent Environment Inc. (PAVE) may need to put in a new order of digital business card printing, having appointed a new executive director in Watertown resident Teresa Nienow
Nienow has a broad and varied human services background. For the past decade, she has been involved in shelter operations, program management, and social work. A news release from PAVE clarifies that Nienow will take the reins in guiding PAVE in the proper direction to fulfil its goals and mission, leading the staff, and serving as the organization’s main public spokesperson and point of contact.
Nienow graduated from the social service administration program at the University of Illinois, Springfield (MA), and can also boast of honors from Ottawa University and Waukesha County Technical College. She is certified in social work, and has held a license for that position in Wisconsin for the past five years.
In addition to her qualifications, Nienow can also claim work experience with the Department of Corrections, as well as the Youth Services Center in Rock County, and has worked all ages and backgrounds.
PAVE’s services include children’s advocacy, legal advocacy, case management, sexual assault advocacy, and evening and weekend staff who are essential for shelter care operations.
