Many Madison bicyclists will be out enjoying the fall weather as they race in an event or ride to work, school, library or just for enjoyment as part of September cycling events.
Madison Bike Week 2020 will still be from Sept September 12th through the 20th, but this year the event will be run a little differently.
Local businesses will be suggesting routes around Madison, offering kid and family activities and holding virtual events. Many will be offering benefits, coupons and Promotional Products to cyclists that visit their restaurants or stores. This year many businesses will be drop-off locations for Madison Bike Week Food Drive.
A week later on the 27th The Ride will have 100 mile, 100k, 50k 25k routes and virtual rides. The event will begin at 8:00 am, end around 4:00 pm and cost $30.
The rides will not have a central gathering location, or designated start location or start time. Aid stations situated along the courses will have packaged food and beverages available.
Although participants will receive long-sleeve performance shirts sporting the event’s Logo Design, teams will have the option to wear matching colorful T-Shirts with the group’s graphic design or their business Logo Design that they have had printed at local Print shops.
The virtual Global Biker event for those cyclists not in Madison or not able to ride that day will begin September 27th and end October 11th.
