Madison will soon host Sips & Slices, a global tasting event benefiting the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization The River Food Pantry.
The afternoon will offer an opportunity to sample internationally inspired dishes prepared by local chefs and explore flavors from all over the world. The event will feature cuisine representing several traditions, including Lao, Irish, and Filipino food.
The event will take place at The River Food Pantry’s new location on Packers Avenue. A VIP Pre-Event will begin one hour before the main gathering, offering international drink tastings accompanied by selected small bites. The River Food Pantry is one of the busiest food pantries serving the county.
While enjoying food samples and refreshments, guests can enjoy live musical performances, followed by an auction, a wine pull, and several raffles throughout the event. Some notable sponsors include Brown & Brown, Hooper, and Vogel Bros. Building Co.
Events like this may also involve local Print vendors for poster printing and to produce Banners, Signs, and other materials that help provide information and guide attendees throughout the venue.
Sips & Slices will take place on Sunday, September 13 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at The River Food Pantry, 3301 Packers Avenue, Madison. More information is available on The River Food Pantry’s official website. Admission is $125, or $150 for the VIP package.
