For the fourth year, the Madison Central Business Improvement District and the Wisconsin Science Festival will present Science on the Square with the Madison Night Market.
The event offers an evening of hands-on science and access to local vendors and businesses.
Free outdoor STEM-themed activities will demonstrate everyday science. Beeslys (the festival’s honeybee mascot) will be hidden around the venue and those that find them will have their names entered into contests for prizes. The event will also have many other giveaways and discounts.
Indoor locations will have exhibits and some will offer specialty cocktails. Madison Night Market will have vendor tents along State Street.
Science on the Square will begin at 5:00 pm, and the Madison Night Market starts at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 22 in downtown Madison. The event should wind down around 9:00 pm.
Other events in the Wisconsin Science Festival will be the BioBlitz at the UW-Madison Arboretum, 1207 Seminole Highway on October 21 through 24 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. This will be an opportunity to walk the trails and gardens to photograph organisms for the Wisconsin BioBlitz project.
Pictures taken at events such as this are occasionally taken to Stationery printers to be made into personalized notecards.
The Allen Centennial Garden, 620 Babcock Drive will be open during the festival from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm on every day except October 24, the Washburn Observatory will hold an open house from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Get a Free Quote for Stationery
