Downtown Madison, Inc will be joining forces with Overture Center for the Arts in hosting Madison’s 29th annual Frostiball later next month.
The Overture Center is managing the event this year, and a spokesperson promises that the event has been reimagined and extended. The gala will feature a local DJ, dance bands, and cirque performers. This event will be the premier benefit for some of the arts programs offered by the Overture Center.
The Gala itself will have more and varied entertainment this year than in the past. The venue, new to the ball this year, will have two music stages, cirque performers, and a dance floor. The live auction will include items such as a vacation at a Sonoma Valley winery, a weekend in New York to preview the Tony Awards, and various local food experiences—hors d’oeuvres and drinks, including champagne, will be available throughout the evening.
A DJ will be hosting the second phase of the evening at the all-new after-party. Local sponsors include many businesses in various printing services. Tickets may be purchased for the entire evening or for just the after-party.
The event will take place in the Overture Center Hall’s main lobby, 201 State Street, Madison, on Saturday, January 31.The main Gala will run 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm with the after-party following from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am.
