Two Madison food festivals are in the planning stages for September.
The Northside Planning Council and FEED Kitchens will present a free Taste the Future 2020. This will be a chance for the public to try small plate samplings from new and growing food businesses that are presently in the Market Ready and FEED Kitchens incubation programs.
A collection of 10 food caterers, food carts, and potential café entrepreneurs will be serving 20 small plate dishes. Chrysalis Pops and Mobile Farmers Market will be giving presentations. Exhibiting organizations and local groups will be presenting displays about our food system’s future and discussing how to build a better one.
Taste the Future 2020 will be Saturday, September 12 from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center, 1025 Northport Drive.
