Many here in Madison will begin their holiday celebrations with a tree lighting, pancake breakfast, and an evening with the Madison Symphony.
The Edgewater Madison will kick off the season with its 10th annual tree lighting ceremony.
The Ice House, Nolen Gallery, Grand Ballroom, and craft stations will open at 3:00 pm on the day of this event. Windy Lynn Markus and her Electric Violin will perform from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm in the Auto Court. Santa and Mrs. Claus will light the trees at 6:00 pm.
The Edgewater Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place November 29 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Edgewater Madison, 1001 Wisconsin Place.
The next morning, November 30, at the Edgewater Madison, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Father Christmas himself will be meeting everyone for PJs and Pancakes with Santa. Guests may decorate cookies and create holiday crafts while waiting for their turn to take photos with the Jolly Old Elf.
Pictures taken this early in the year will still have time to go to Stationery printers to become part of this year's custom Christmas cards.
To celebrate the holidays with music, the Madison Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Madison Symphony Christmas at Overture Hall with evening concerts on December 6 and 7 and an afternoon performance on Sunday, December 8.
Performers will include the Madison Youth Choir, the Madison Symphony Chorus, Mt. Zion Gospel Choir, and guest vocal soloists Vanessa Becerra (soprano) and Craig Irvin (baritone).Get a Free Quote for Stationery
